About Still My Person

Libby — forever loved, forever remembered.

My name is Mike, and I created Still My Person after losing my girlfriend, Libby.

Libby was my world, my best friend, and the person I loved more than anything. She was truly the best thing that ever happened to me. Losing her has changed my life in ways I'm still trying to understand.

She was beautiful inside and out. She was always helping someone, she loved with her whole heart, and family meant everything to her. Those are just a few of the things that made her so special. I miss her every day, including all the little, ordinary moments we shared.

When you lose the person you planned to share your life with, there are so many things you still want to say. You remember the conversations, the laughter, the routines, and the simple comfort of having your person beside you. That love doesn't just disappear.

That's why I started this website. I wanted to create a quiet, welcoming place for anyone missing a husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, or life partner. Somewhere to find words when they're hard to come by, write a letter, remember a special day, or simply feel a little less alone in those memories.

I don't pretend to have answers about grief. I'm still finding my way through my own loss. But I do believe that remembering the people we love matters, and that our stories with them deserve to be held onto.

If you've found your way here because you're missing your person, I hope something on these pages brings you a moment of comfort.

In loving memory of Libby.
You were my world. I love you, and I always will.

— Mike
